Fine Fossils

Rare fossils and valuable collections
We have a large collection of rare fossils that can only be seen here in Japan, as well as valuable museum-quality fossils.

Fossils as works of art

Beauty and antiquity meet: A new exhibition pioneered by art
We are also experimenting with exhibition methods inspired by contemporary art works.
Please enjoy this new initiative that will overturn your previous image of fossils.

#Art × Fukuoka Keyaki Street
Our store is located on Keyaki Street in Fukuoka City, a street lined with about 100 keyaki trees and lined with stylish cafes, restaurants and select shops.
The surrounding area is famous as an art spot with many galleries and the Fukuoka Art Museum, and in 2029 the new Fukuoka Prefectural Museum of Art will move to the same area (we're looking forward to it!), which is likely to further increase art fever.

Art Fukuoka

#sustainable
In order to preserve the charm of the vintage store built in 1979, we have reused as much of the interior as possible, including the marble floor at the entrance, as well as the walls and some of the ceiling. As for the new materials used for the fixtures, we have selected 100% natural materials and have designed the store with recycling and sustainability in mind.

#Not available online
None of the products we sell, including fossils, are available for sale online.
Come see for yourself in our store the traces of life that existed tens of thousands, and sometimes hundreds of millions of years ago.
This is a bold initiative in this age where anything can be purchased online.
A unique museum experience unlike any other.
